【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversestablishesrequirementsforcoextrudedcrosslinkedpolyethylenemulti-layerpressuretubingwithacontinuouslyweldedaluminumtubeconstructionbetweeninnerandouterlayersofplastic.Theinnerandoutercrosslinkedpolyethylenelayersarebondedtothealuminumbyameltadhesive.Thetubingisoutsidediametercontrolledandmadeinonestandarddimensionratio,SDR9andisintendedtobeusedforhotandcoldwaterconveyanceinapplicationsupto180F(82.2C).Includedinthisspecificationisasystemofnomenclatureforcrosslinkedpolyethylene-aluminum-crosslinkedpolyethylene(PEX-AL-PEX)tubes,andtherequirementsandtestmethodsformaterials,dimensionsofcomponentlayersandthefinishedtubing,layeradhesiontest,weldstrength,short-termburstpressure,long-termsustainedpressureandmarkingrequirements.Thetubingcoveredbythisspecificationisintendedforuseinpotablewaterdistributionsystemsforresidentialandcommercialapplications,waterservice,hydronicradiantheating(HRH),radiantpanelheating,baseboard,andsnowmeltsystems.1.2Thisspecificationcoversonlyplastic-metal-plasticmulti-layertubesincorporatingacontinuousweldedaluminumtube.Tubingconsistingofmetalliclayersnotweldedtogetherisoutsidethescopeofthisspecification.1.3UnitsThevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitswhichareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.4Specificationsforconnectorsforusewithpipemeetingtherequirementsofthisspecificationaregivenin.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
